CENTER CLOSURE UPDATE

I know for most of our members this announcement won’t come as a complete surprise, but please know that this has been a difficult decision for us to make because we know how important the Madison County Senior Center is for so many of you.

Following Governor DeWine’s directives we are closing the center effective Monday, March 23rd with hope and lots prayers that we will be able to reopen on Monday, April 6th.   All activities are canceled starting March 17th.  As a business that serves the age group most affected by the coronavirus, we can’t in good conscience continue business as usual and risk the health or even worse the life of any of our members.

Right now the café is open for carry-out meals, from 11:30 to 1:00, we are trying to figure out a way to help our seniors get at least one good meal a day.  We are also continuing our Transportation services for our seniors and our adult care program as suggested by the ODA, please note that this may change at any time, the health and safety of our seniors and our staff is a top priority.

We will miss you and your laughter during this shut-down, please stay safe.  God Bless.

Please check our Facebook page and our website mcsenior.org for any changes or updates here.
